Fund NGO Academy to Create Community Leaders

THE PROBLEM

NGO Academy is a FREE monthly workshop by NGOhub for non-profits and social impact industry leaders. The workshop is designed to empower its participants with knowledge and experience relevant to better solve societal issues.

Since 2015, there has been over 70 NGO Acadmey workshops with over 2,000 participants nationwide who joined for free. Covering a wide range of topics from organizational management and governance to digital marketing and risks mitigation, NGO Academy continues to upskill its participants until today without a fee.

NGO Academy helps create more future community heroes to solve societal issues:

• We train social workers on how to recruit more volunteers.
• We train the cancer prevention charity on how to fundraise for their programs.
• We train volunteers on how to use social media to get support for their food bank.

While many of our speakers demonstrated selfless voluntary service, our participants have requested for an extension. For example, for NGO Academy Special: Social Media for NGO, many participants were happy to join a follow-up series with our speaker, Digital Specialist Gray Ham. 

We would love to sustain NGO Academy - to provide accessible knowledge and practical training for free with incentives for speakers and more.
