Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that can result in significant social, communication, and behavioural difficulties. There is often nothing, but how people with ASD look that distinguishes them from others, but people with ASD may communicate, interact, behave, and learn in ways that most other people do not. People with ASD have a wide range of learning, thinking, and problem-solving abilities, ranging from gifted to severely challenged. Some people with ASD require a lot of assistance in their daily lives, while others require less.
As an ASD children, most of them are unable to express themselves, they need people and the community to wholly accept them or blend them in, that's how trust is built and a way for them to grow in a normal society. No matter how one behaves they are always acceptable in any and every situation. The support we need for them is for the community to believe that they are not abnormal but they are still human and just different.
Hope for Autism project aims to understand the lifestyle of autistic individuals and ways to support their needs. Not only that, but this project also wants to raise the acceptance of students with autism and enable individuals to be aware of the ways to support them, especially in the Perak community. Moreover, we want to let more people understand the environment and factors that occur to students with autism with mental health issues and ways to overcome them.
Hope for Autism project also collaborates closely with NGOs, local youth groups, social enterprises, and local secondary schools to ensure each of the supplies is channeled to the students in need.
More of the awareness from the community of what the kids need in order to create a more valuable outcome from the kids. As for the younger kids, we need a sensory room and for the bigger kids, they need the support to build more skills (eg. Bakery skills) for them to be able to survive in the future. We are planning to form a bakery for them. We might need the funds for the setup of a proper baking kitchen.

Background of this organazation!
Our Identity
AIESEC is the world's largest non-profit youth-run organization. It is an international non-governmental not-for-profit organisation that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internships, and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe. The organization focuses on empowering young leaders to make a positive impact on society through actions.
Our Vision
AIESEC strives for Peace and Fulfilment of Humankind's Potential as an organisation.
In today’s context, ‘Peace’ does not necessarily mean only avoiding war. Peace can symbolise a world that does not have conflicts that arise from cultural, religious, or other aspects of differences in humanity. Peace can also symbolise being in harmony with yourself. AIESEC strives to build a world where people can work towards their own understanding of peace while respecting and understanding the views of others.
Through Fulfilment of Humankind’s Potential, AIESEC strives for a world where people can be the best version of themselves.
Our Action
We place our confidence in youth because they have the passion, dynamism and entrepreneurial spirit that are needed to shape the future. They have the responsibility to improve tomorrow by choosing who they will be today. Hence, AIESEC is a platform for young leaders to run projects that are aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure its relevance to the local community needs. We aim to be part of the solution for a betterment of Malaysia.
