The Story

Our Passion

As the Malaysian Youth Volunteer for the Light Your Future Eureka (LYFE) under AIESEC HWUM, we are focusing on the importance of providing access to education for the underprivileged children who are often facing difficulties and circumstances regarding the exposure of good quality education due to financial constraints, lack of infrastructure, and social discrimination. 

The Solution

Aligning with the SDG 4, ensuring that the community needs to recognise any disparities in education to ensure that all children, our aims to provide every child with the necessary education and resources to empower and inspire them for their future in a sustainable environment regardless of their background and socioeconomic status. 

The Impact

Being involved in this project to change and transform the lives of children who encounter tough challenges in their early years gives me hope, optimism, and empowerment.

The empathy and compassion we have for the children who are facing the hardship at the beginning of their lives could be done effectively with a fundraising campaign to leverage resources and the support from others can bring a significant impact on the lives of underprivileged children.

The Beneficiaries

This campaign will provide much-needed funding to NGOs who continue to serve our most vulnerable underprivileged communities
 
The beneficiaries of these funds are as follows:
1. Name: Agathians Shelter
Service users: Boys who are either abused, abandoned neglected or at risk (5 - 20 years old)
Number of Service Users: 40
How our funds would be helping: Daily Necessities, Education Materials and Health Care and Nutrition Needs
 
2. Name: Rumah Sayangan
Service Users: Children from destitute families, orphans
Number of Service Users: 20
How our funds would be helping: Renovation and Maintenance of Buildings, Daily Necessities, Education Materials
