The Story

    In Malaysia, a nation known for its rich culinary heritage, the shadow of food waste looms large. Despite its vibrant flavours, a significant portion of Malaysia's food ends up in landfills, contributing to environmental and social challenges. From bustling street markets to upscale restaurants, the issue spans all sectors of society. Recognizing the urgency, local initiatives and campaigns are emerging to raise awareness about the impact of food waste and to encourage sustainable practices, reminding Malaysians that every plate holds the power to make a difference.

    Hello everyone, my name is Xiang Ying! I am one of the participants in Malaysian Youth Volunteer (MYV) for the Clean Our Plate 10.0 project. This project aims to raise awareness to the Malaysian communities about food waste management and responsible consumer behaviour. With the effort, we hope that we can reduce food wastage and raise public awareness on food wastage in Malaysia. Join us in making an effort by donating.
