Caring Through Food

The Story

Hello everyone! My name is Ting. Growing up with all my necessities met easily and having access to education, it's sometimes hard to imagine that there are others who live in the same country as me struggling just to have proper food and education.

This campaign aims to raise funds and spread awareness about food waste. The funds that have been collected will be donated to NGOs and to feed the refugees in Malaysia.

In a world with so much food being produced, where 1.3 billion tonnes of food waste are generated in a year, nearly 10% of the world's population still struggles with hunger. Especially after the pandemic, the numbers are on the rise.

I hope that the people reading this can spare some change to help support the campaign. Every cent counts. No amount is too little or too much. The target for this fundraiser is RM250.
