Let's Get Back Into Loving | COP 6.0 Fundraising

The Story

Hi there! I'm Effinie, a Psychology degree student living in Malaysia. I am passionate about making a change in my local community, and a firm believer that unique experiences facilitates your growth as a human being. Hence, I decided to try my hand out at fundraising for a cause I care about.

I remember that fast food chains like KFC and McDonalds used to be a luxury for me when I was younger. My family treated them like it was something you could only get when you earn it. So, it was something I deemed as a rare occasion, even all the way to the age I am now. 

But seeing how much people take these meals for granted, any meals at all really, saddens me. It is so much more worse to know that my own family like my little cousins are the ones actively contributing to the amount of food waste my family has garnered for just one day. I know there are people out there who are struggling to even put food on the table, and the fact that we are privileged enough to just waste food like it's nothing made me realise I need to do something about it.

So, here I am! :D 

My target for this fundraise would be RM500. But...that's not all!
