The Story

Greetings 👋

Hello, I'm Amanina. I am currently a final-year student at UPM. My parents are always my role models when it comes to helping others because they are never stingy with their donations or help. Thanks to them, I develop a passion for helping others. My mother, who is an educator, always stressed the importance of education to me from a young age. Because of this, I feel motivated to convey the idea that education is essential and that everyone has the right to receive it.

As I consider my life, I realise how lucky and blessed I am to have been provided all the resources to succeed academically and reach my goal of attending university. Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone. At least not for the indigenous children of Kampung Kensau. The kids have to travel a long way just to get to school. The parents need to drive their kids to school every day in vehicles that need gas and fuel. Some of us find gas and fuel to be expensive. Can you imagine how hard it is for them? That is why most of these kids decide to stop going to school because funding their education is too difficult for their underprivileged families. In addition, there are also no facilities for teachers or volunteers to do workshops or programs to educate children and engage with the community in the village.

What they went through opened my eyes to the reality that being born into poverty meant being denied access to the resources you need to succeed. The unfortunate reality that young children must face because they have no choice except to accept it. They are struggling to survive, whereas I take everything for granted. That makes me want to help them even more.

Thus, I need your help to raise funds in order to provide a place of learning for the children in Kampung Kensau. All eyes should be on these young individuals, as they represent the future of the nation. They deserve a nice life, an education, and a chance as much as any of us. Each ringgit that is given as a donation will make a significant difference in the life of the children. What you do now will determine their future.

Jom sama-sama kita bantu mereka!
