A Ray of Hope for Refugees!

The Story

As an initiative to help those in need, we joined this project titled “Empowering Equalities” under AIESEC in Sunway. We are passionate in helping others and making an impact to the society through our actions. It is very rewarding to see what difference we can make through our actions. Hence, we are fundraising for this campaign to gain funds for refugees’ education.

A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war or violence. Most likely, they cannot return home or are afraid to do so. But all refugees have names, faces, and stories. They deserve to have the same rights as us - economics and social rights including education, medical help, and job opportunity. It is crucial for us to rise up and stand up for refugees. It’s never too late to help.

Just like us, refugees seek a life of dignity, freedom, and security. By lending a hand in this cause, we can gain satisfaction through kindness. You should never underestimate the impact you can make. Every step counts and we are doing a small but sure step to empower equalities for refugees. All funds raised will be contributed to refugees' education.

Refugees are in crisis, their lives in limbo not only in Malaysia, but globally. They are people with stories that deserve to be heard, they should be welcomed and protected. Moreover, every single child is a fountain of hope. Help them as in helping ourselves for the sake of a better future. All of us have the responsibility to make a better world for refugees. The time to do something is now!
