To help is to give a smile

The Story

Story: Do you know that even a slightest bit of help from you plays an essential role to help those who are less-privileged and put a smile on their faces? Greetings everyone! We are volunteers for a project under AIESEC in Sunway known as “Empowering Equalities 9.0”, and we are seeking your support to fundraise for refugee youths under the ethnic group, Rohingya, and the organization Refugee Academy located in Myanmar. We are passionate to help those in need as knowing that this will be able to make them happy will put a smile on our faces.

We chose to fundraise for this campaign as refugees are also humans like us, but are being forced to leave their home country without their own will and are unable to return home. As Khaled Hosseini would say, “Refugees are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, with the same hopes and ambitions as us – except that a twist of fate has bound their lives to a global refugee crisis on an unprecedented scale.” Hence, we wish to play our part because we feel that our kindness, sincerity, and generosity are able to make a great impact on these refugee children, particularly towards their education.

“To donate is to help a cause”, therefore your donation matters a lot as you are able to do great wonders and make the biggest differences in the lives of these refugee children with your smallest acts of kindness! You are able to make a change and make them experience some incredible things of which they never experienced before. We feel that everyone should care as one is able to make a big contribution to the education and studies of these innocent children, giving them amazing opportunities to learn more and gain new knowledge which would help them in the future and provide them a better lifestyle. With this, you are also able to feel more satisfied and self-accomplished when you know you have done something of great deed and that your slightest help will lead to amazing results in somebody else’s lives.
