A Fullstop to Food Wastage

The Story

Hi everybody! I'm Wei En and I recently graduated from A Levels in Sunway College, Selangor. I enjoy playing a part in society to help make a difference in the lives of the less priviledged.

I am currently working with AIESEC Sunway in a project called "Clean Our Plate", where we raise awareness about the issue of food wastage to the public. This fundraising campaign aims to provide food to underpriviledged families in order to alleviate their suffering, especially during this pandemic.

The Issue

Despite the pandemic where economy has severely plunged, it is very saddening to still see the massive amount of food going into waste while there are still people out there struggling to feed their families due to joblessness. Hence, it has been an important calling to educate and spread awareness about this issue across the community.
