We're All In This Together - Help The Underserved

The Story

Hi there!

I am Koh Jie Ying, a student from the University of Nottingham Malaysia involving in SERUM Initiative and Enactus to help the underserved community during this pandemic crisis.

Why am I fundraising for this campaign? With the current outbreak of Covid-19, hand sanitizers and face masks became a daily necessity. Upon the announcement of Movement Control Order (MCO), people have been staying at home, resources still available within our reach. However, little do we know, the underserved community is struggling to have access to healthcare supplies because of logistic and financial barriers.

Personally, when I see all the front-liners are fighting hard to end this pandemic, whilst the only thing I could do is stay at home and do nothing, I felt a bit useless. Eventually, the moment I knew I was able to help in this cause and that there are people in need, I took part in this fundraising.
