THE PROBLEM

Possibly reducing statistics in Malaysia for baby dumping, self-inducing abortions and infanticides.

 

THE SOLUTION

Providing a temporary transit home for single pregnant women in need of housing, food, hospital care and basic mother-baby necessities such as formula milk and diapers. Women can check into our facilities during their 3rd trimester - end of their confinement period. Ample thinking time to decide for both her and the future of her newborn baby.

THE IMPACT

A support system for mothers to move on, knowing that they are not alone. Sisterhood relationships can also be formed amongst residence. Rumah Kita also aims to provide assistance on baby necessities should mums require help after.

About the Organization/Project behind this Campaign

Pertubuhan Kebajikan & Pendidikan Rumah Kita

Bermula pada Mei 2015 (oleh arwah Vimmi Yasmin Razak) dan berdaftar dengan Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan. Berlokasi di Pandan Jaya, Kuala Lumpur bertujuan untuk memberi bantuan perlindungan dan pemulihan akhlak serta jati diri bagi wanita yang hamil tanpa suami atau tanpa kerelaan. 
 

Established in May 2015 by the late Vimmi Yasmin Razak. The NGO is located in Pandan Jaya, Kuala Lumpur - providing TEMPORARY housing, nourishment, pre and post-natal care for single pregnant women. Our aim is to reduce baby dumping amongst the community.
