The Story

Who we are?

We are students from the University of Malaya helping to raise funds for Rumah Kita's Operational Costs for 2020.

We are raising this fund to help the organization to support the operation for the single pregnant women and the baby-mother necessities.

PROBLEM

According to Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
From 2010 to May 2019, there were a total of 1, 010 recorded cases of baby dumping, 

64% of the babies were also found dead. 

SOLUTION

Rumah Kita Operational Cost provides a temporary transit home for single pregnant women in need of housing, food, hospital care and basic baby needs such as formula milk and diapers. Single pregnant women can check into their facilities during their 3rd trimester - end of their confinement period. So, this will provide enough thinking time to decide for both her and the future of her newborn baby.

IMPACT OF THE CAUSE

Your donation would provide necessities for the single pregnant woman and the necessities for babies (for example, formula milk, diapers, clothes and etc..).
