Ramadan and Eid Food Drive For 2023

THE PROBLEM

Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims where they fast from dawn to dusk. However, for many underprivileged families, orphanages, and old folks' homes in the B40 community, it can be challenging as they struggle to make ends meet and put food on the table. 

Due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the situation has worsened, leaving many vulnerable individuals and families struggling to afford basic necessities like food. 

THE SOLUTION

We aim to raise funds to provide groceries packs and set meals for these communities during Ramadan and Eid. The pack is hope to sustain a family for a week or more.
 

Our goal is to raise at least RM6600.00, which will help us to provide essentials groceries and meals for around 50 to 100 families, orphanages and old folks' homes in need during Ramadan and Eid. This means that we aim to benefit approximately 250 to 500 individuals in total. 

To achieve this goal, we target RM50 per pack for each family, which will cover the basic essentials for a week or more. Alternatively, we are also aiming to provide 200 individual meal sets for RM8 each, which will include a nutritious and satisfying meal for one person. 

With your support, we can ensure that these vulnerable communities have access to essential food items and meals during these holy months.

THE IMPACT

By providing essential groceries packs and ready meals, we can help to alleviate some of the burdens and financial stress on families during Ramadan. Additionally, we will help to ensure that these communities have access to healthy and nutritious meals, which can improve their physical health and well-being. 

Overall, we hope we can make a positive impact by bringing joy and relief to vulnerable individuals and families during these holy months.

Goal 1 - 100 sets of RM50 Groceries Packs. Amount Needed: MYR5,000.00

Goal 2 - 200 sets of RM8 Meal Sets. Amount Needed: MYR1,600.00
