Mesra Home Ampang is a home for elderly Muslim Women. The youngest is a 59-year-old while the oldest resident is 74 years old and 15 of them in total. Mostly single with no immediate family with reasonable health condition. Mesra home in operation since 2013, is now having challenges to sustain rising monthly operational and maintenance cost around RM 8000 – 10000 per month which covers House Rental (RM 1650/month), Utilities (RM 500 -800/month), 2 helpers and 1 cook.
They receive visitors occasionally, but mostly are school educational field trips where they hardly get donations in terms of money. Most of their visitors give food supplies/clothes as donation. They rely on public donations and taking care of old folks is no easy task. Despite the difficulty En Razali (Founder) faces daily, he has never wanted to give up taking care of old folks because he sees them as family. All the senior citizens here love him because he treats them like his parents.
These elderly folks have no home, no one to turn to and if we do not take care of them, how will they survive? This might be the ‘last stop’ for them, as they do not have anywhere else to go.
So, the team Mesra Home really hopes for more donation to sustain a permanent peaceful environment for the attached elderly people.
To obtain public donation to support the following needs till end of the year 2019:
House Rental: RM 1650 x 4 months = RM 6,600 (Q4,2019)
Utilities: RM 600 x 4 = RM 2,400 (Q4,2019)
Total Target: = RM9000
To offer a lifestyle that addresses minimum needs of 15 senior citizens of Mesra Home like Food, Utilities and a place to stay.

“Mesra home “ ( Pertubuhan kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Sri Mesra ) is a charity home for Muslim elderly women who are neglected , no heirs and unmarried.The homes is registered under Department of Social Welfare ( JKM ).
Mesra home started its operation since 2013 at Tmn Sri Gombak at the beginning . Then moved to Tmn Sri Watan in early 2014 for more spacious place for elderly.
No fees were imposed as the elderly are from Asnaf Groups
This home was built because of LOVE and CARE. We wanted the elderly be part of the society , not to be left out and improve their QUALITY OF LIFE until the end of their life.
