This December, let’s celebrate the Malaysian people, our sense of unity, and our collective generosity in helping one another.
As we draw close to the end of a very difficult 2020 for people around the world, we are reminded that for some, the struggle for survival is still imminent. Yet, in the face of adversity - through sickness, political turbulence, economic hardship and loneliness - the Rakyat have collectively stepped up to support one other.
So this December, we would like to celebrate the Malaysian people, our sense of unity, and our collective generosity in helping one another.
To do so, we’re launching our #GiveSamaSama Charity Campaign, a month-long campaign culminating with Malaysia's first virtual charity countdown PARTY, which will also see our popular crowdfunding platform relaunched as GivingHub.asia.
Wonder how our party will look like?

Process of redemption as below:
Throughout December, we expect to onboard 20 new crowdfunding campaigns on the new GivingHub platform to raise a target of RM100k, and increase traffic to our new website. The four charity partners that we have currently (Humankind, Projek57, Madhya's Gift, The Hope Branch) will be our target beneficiaries of the fund.
Introducing you further with our charity partners:
Humankind: A non-profit organization which aims to design and conduct community-based art projects to promote community’s mental health and well-being. They believe that kind people exist in every community and hold firm belief that kind people make the world a better place. They are on a mission to identify, resource, connect and support kind people who want to serve those who are vulnerable within communities. They are a part of the BuddyBear project which provides emotional support for children in need especially during the pandemic.
Projek 57: A social enterprise which shares the vision of the 1st Prime Minister, that “Our future depends on how well many different kinds of people can live and work together”. They aspire to create a Movement of Hope of 1,000,000 Rakyat Malaysia proud to be Malaysian and standing together in Unity. It is a non-political and non-partisan organization, which is driven by positive values and uniting factors
Madhya’s Gift: “Madhya’s Gift” is a Yayasan Chow Kit’s children’s health initiative, which seeks to provide access to critically ill care and essential services, not covered by insurance and to also provide relief on the waiting times of critically ill children under 6 who seek care. Thousands of sick children are either uninsured or underinsured and unable to access quality medical care. On average, Yayasan Chow Kit receives appeals to help critically ill children, twice a month. The cost to help these children just in accessing health services range from RM10,000 to RM1 million per case. The solution is the creation of a children's health initiative, Madhya's Gift, a one stop center for sick children needing aid and access to health services.
The Hope Branch: An initiative to raise funds quickly and effectively deliver for those affected by the Covid19 Pandemic. They are working together with KitaJagaKita to execute speedy aid delivery. Their tasks include fundraising to cover costs of purchase and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as daily supplies for those affected most from the Restricted Movement Control Order (daily wage earners, homeless, immigrants).
Raised of MYR 100,000.00 target.
