Zero Strays Miri animal shelter cares for more than 300 rescued dogs and 80 cats. All the animals rescued were previously injured, abused or abandoned on the cruel streets and were not able to survive on their own. The aim for these rescued animals are to be rehome to loving kind families that can care for them for their remaining lives. All the dog and cats rescued have been neutered, vaccinated, deworm and de-flea. While waiting to be adopted, the shelter expenses to feed he rescued furkids are very high. Each month, the operational cost to feed all the rescued furkids exceeds RM8000. All expenses needed to maintain the shelter are through public donation. Zero Strays Miri hopes to raise some funds through this campaign to help feed the shelter animals. With a wider outreach through this platform, the organsiation hopes to raise more awareness of being kind to animals, and raise funds help pay for food needed for the shelter animals.
At the end of the campaign, it is hoped that a wider outreach of people knowing the organisation - Zero Strays Miri is acheived. It is also hoped that the organisation gain some help with raising funds through a different platform to help feed the shelter animals.

Zero Strays Miri is a not for profit animal welfare organisation founded in 2013 by a group of ladies who are passionate in animals. The aim is to reduce the population of stray dogs and cats in Miri City through neutering, education and rehoming program.
