Empower Abilities: Supporting Disabled Communities

The Story

We are from AIESEC in Heriot-Watt University Malaysia a club organizing positive impact events for volunteers to join that able to gain more social skills, more confident, creating positive impacts and create a better social in Malaysia. In this fundraising campaign, we organized GIFTED projects which raise awareness about the disabled communities in Malaysia.

Why are we fundraising?

We found out that there are lack of insight on diabled communities in Malaysia. Currently, most of them struggling with financial difficulities to cover their daily expenses. Due to this, most of the diabled centre shut down and cause those disabilities live depends on themself with low benefit from government. In order, we will partner with IDA Malaysia and GAPS to support these communities. Our goal is to raise RM1500 to ensure these to centre can continue to provide essetials, care and education for those who need.
