Stand Together towards Equality

The Story

PROBLEM:
Those with intellectual disabilities struggle significantly in their daily lives, enduring educational difficulties, workplace discrimination, relationship problems, stigma of their disability, prejudice, and on top of everything dealing with the ignorance of people and fighting for the opportunity to seen equals. 
Disabled centers strive to improve the quality of living for the intellectual disabled and create awareness. However, the pandemic hit them hard. Additional costs racked up, and fewer people are providing donations after the economic crisis. It has been very difficult to recover financally and provide support for the, roughly, 160 thousand children in malaysia with intellectual disabilites. 

SOLUTION: 
To help, you can donate money to our campaign! We, as volunteers of AIESEC Malaysia, are fundraising on behalf of IQ70 and IDA malaysia, who provide aid to children and young adults respectively. You can be a part of our intiative, supporting these incredible centers and, mostly importantly, serve vunerable and underprivllaged individuals. 

ACTION:
The money raised from this campaign will be split amongst the 2 organisations. 

For IQ70+ the money will go towards the expenses of the 70 mentally disabled residents living at the center, ranging from daily necessaities for older children and babies, ranging from food, adult/baby diapers, clothes and forms of theraphy.
Allowing them to continue giving professional full-time personal care assistance, sound medical system and safe living environment for these people.
 

For IDA Malaysia, the money will go towards upkeeping the center and other daily expenses. 
Which will let them to effectively give character & spiritual development and career training to empower intellectually disabled young adults to live independently.
