Zero Hunger

The Story

Hye! I am Amir Haikal, a volunteer under AIESEC from Universiti Putra Malaysia and currently on a project called Clean Our Plate. This project is intended to spread awareness regarding the food waste management.

This campaign is to combate hunger issues by providing meals to the homeless and also spreading the awareness regarding the food waste to the public.

The money generated in this campaign will be sent to The Assembly Soup Kitchen (TASK), one of our partners. TASK is a private, nonprofit organization that mostly works with homeless people in the Klang Valley. As a result, the money you gave us will be utilized into the cost of making and distributing scrumptious packed meals for those in need. However we've decided that a total of RM 10 will be the minimum donation. Why? Because a homeless person may receive a nourishing meal for every RM 10 donated! You are encouraged to contribute a greater offering if you would prefer to contribute to more homeless persons.
