Hello everyone! We are Ren Ern, Danielle and Meds! We are the representatives of the GIFTED project in AIESEC Heriot Watt University. We hope that we can make a difference in the lives of the disabled communities by helping to fundraise for our beneficiaries, IQ70Plus and Beautiful Gate.
Join us to make a difference in the lives of the disabled individuals by supporting our donation campaign. Your kindness can empower them to overcome obstacles, pursue their dreams and lead fulfilling lives.
Ren Ern 🌊
Hi, I’m Ren Ern and I’m currently taking a gap year and wondering how I should spend my free time, I decided that I wanted to help the underprivileged. Therefore, I decided to join AIESEC as a Malaysian Youth Volunteer as Mother Teresa once said “Helping hands is better than praying lips.” With this project, I hope that I am able to cause an impact to the disabled communities and lessen the burdens that they face.
Danielle ☀️
Hi everyone! I'm Danielle from Monash University Malaysia. I'm a BSc student majoring in Medicinal Chemistry. I have always wanted to join volunteering programs to help people in need. Thanks to AIESEC, I have been given the opportunity to achieve my dream. Through this fundraising program, I hope to be able to make a difference by closing the gap between the inequalities. A favorite quote of mine would be "There is no greater disability in society, than the inability to see a person as more," from Robert M. Hensel.
Meds⚡
Hola, I’m Meds and I’m 21 years old and currently on break, I decided to join the gifted project and help fundraise for disabled children because I feel like it’s a topic that has a lot of stigma and lacks awareness in our society. We will be working closely together with Beautiful Gate and IQ 70+ and interacting with the children ourselves so we hope you raise enough money for this project… as Howard Zinn once said “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.”
Join us in building a society that values diversity and inclusion. Every donation, no matter the amount, has the power to transform lives. Together, we can change perceptions, break down barriers and create a brighter future for disabled individuals.
The beneficiaries of these funds are as follows:
1. Name: IQ70Plus
Service users: Mentally challenged individuals
Number of Service Users: 70
How our funds would be helping: Help cover daily necessities and expenses
2. Name: Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled (Puchong Center)
Service Users: Special needs children and adults
Number of Service Users: 20
How our funds would be helping: Help cover daily necessities and expenses
Raised of MYR 2,500.00 target.
