Equity in Education

The Story

Hi, I’m Ivan, and I’m a volunteer for the “Speak Up! 12.0” project organized by AIESEC in Sunway. 

How has Covid impacted you? Was school hard for you? For many students coming from B40 families, getting quality education just got harder. With online classes becoming the norm, how can we ensure these children have an equal chance in an increasingly competitive society? Here at AIESEC, we are inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which include #4 Quality Education. Our team is working closely with these students to build their technical knowledge and soft skills so that through education, there will be a bright and certain future even for the most marginalized communities.

Eduquity 1.0 aims to:

• Raise awareness about equity in education, especially in Malaysia

• Raise funds to provide quality education to B40 students
