My name is Shu Qian. I am a year 3 student, studying Bachelor of Economics in Universiti Malaya. I am interested in helping people. Why am I doing this? The main reason is people deserve help from us! Our morals and soul need us to be honest and be kind. Understanding people and being compassionate are the essential elements as a society member.
The reason for me in fundraising is because of my intention to voice Sabahan's needs. There is inequality in development where certain areas in Malaysia still lack in safe food and clean water. Fundraising promotes the volunteer form of income redistribution from public to the poor or needy. It is crucial for our country to move forward together and no one be left behind. As a part of society, I feel that it is necessary to raise public awareness on the people who need help. Since our government promotes policy that emphasizes harmony among citizens, we should take our responsibility and realize it. Sharing prosperity is the sustainable and long term goal for us toward a happier country. That is what we learnt, sharing is caring. The basic need, Food! Sabah rural families are now facing issues for the security of food. This campaign should be supported by caring society’s members who care about everyone, each of us. As a sign of gratitude, donate and support us!
