The Story

Hi, my name is Daniel James from AIESEC IN UTAR.

I believe many wonderful things will never be done if you do not do them, and volunteering for me is one such thing. It gives me the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. And that is exactly what drives me, “Making the world a better place”. And for that very reason, that is why I joined SPEAK UP 8.0 by AIESEC

The mission of this campaign is to Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, which is SDG 4. By conducting this campaign, we aim to mitigate the challenges B40 students face when it comes to communication through bringing them workshops as well as teaching them basic STEAM skills (e.g Soap kits) that will come in handy to help the students improve on their communication skills.

This brings to mind the words of Gandhiji who said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” So I say unto you, support us by making a small donation to our campaign or by sharing with your friends so we can make this project a success.

Do not underestimate the impact you could have on someone’s life. Be that service to others so that you may find yourself.
