Hello there!

I am Haziqah. Giving back to society in any way I can, became a part of my life. I'm passionate about inclusivity, which ensures every individual has equal access to opportunities and resources.

I thought a lot either water or electricity was really crucial, but I came to a realization that WATER IS the CENTER OF LIFE. Water is the most essential thing we depend on in our daily life. For example, water is used for washing and sanitation, cooking, farming, raising animals, and energy sources. Since we are well equipped with an adequate water supply every day, we often overlook the importance of clean water in our life. There was one day in June when the water flow from my pipe was cloudy and it was a bad day for me. Why? Not getting clean water makes my clothes in the washing machine stained, and unclean water for drinking + taking a bath. Can you imagine washing your face and brushing your teeth with cloudy water? Is it impossible, right? So from that day, I understand what it is like to be living a day without clean water.

Hence, this is why this campaign means a lot to me. While we enjoy a clean water supply daily, some communities still lack access to clean water resources. Living in rural and remote areas make the Kota Belud community in Sabah rely on natural water sources (river, stream etc) and some of them use polluted water from unclean sources (ditches, holes, etc) or collect rain, often carrying harmful Waterborne Diseases such as cholera and typhoid fever.

The solution

• Gravity water systems provide access to clean and safe water for rural families.
• Gravity Water Systems use local or remote natural water sources to deliver a 100% free, drinkable supply to households and farms via long-lasting pipelines and tanks.

All these fund from this campaign will be given to HOPE Malaysia Welfare Association to build Gravity Water Systems. Let's together provide clean water supply for rural Kota Belud community in Sabah to ease their daily life  and protect their health from waterborne disease. Sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit … Jom together-gather bantu mereka . JOM! JOM!
