I'm Pavitra Jaya, a girl who is keen on every little thing. There is no such a thing as boring in my dictionary, everything seems to be fascinating to me.
Check out my stories on IG page : https://www.instagram.com/pavitra_jaya/
My high school biology teacher had prepared dinner for students. I went to her home to help her prepare some food and drinks. That is when I saw her 5 children playing together joyfully but only one was left behind.I thought to myself maybe that kid is not feeling well but my teacher explained to me that he has a down syndrome disorder. She too informed me that the kid had been homeschooled ever since he turned to 4-years-old. It was both shocking and frustrating for me because that kid has been kept hidden, clearly has was never been out of his house ever.
I had another biology teacher in the university who also had a special baby. She shared her story to us all. It was very touching. I still remember what she said to us, " I am sharing this so that people can get to know how great it feels to be a mother of the special baby ". She had admitted it never easy to handle the baby, but what keeps her to keep going was the smile on the baby which is purely made form love.
These are stories of two peoples. One had hid the kid from the world and the other showed the world to the kid. We cannot determine on how they should live their lives, we have no rights to take the freedom from them. Do not let the physical apperance fool you, as the saying goes 'Do not judge a book by its cover', they may look different, but they are highly capable.
Even a little from you will do a great help from them, as they fund will be given to the IMC Training Centre in Puchong, to ccarry out acitivities to aid their motor coordination, self-confidence, creativity, colour recognition and observation skills.
Let's donate to make a CHANGE for them, you can be the reason to bring a SMILE on their faces.
IMC is a passionate training centre devoted to developing children and individuals with Special Needs. Through personalised learning with dedicated staff and volunteers, IMC aims to not only prepare the Special Children to develop the skills that will aid them in society but also instil good moral attitudes in them alongside a replenished sense of self-worth.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IMC is facing various challenges, such as the lack of voluntary manpower and donations, which affects their operation and makes them unable to support the Special Children and orphans that are completely under their guardianship.
