The Story

Hello, I am Pik Yew. From curious to wanted, I am inspired by the AIESEC team in each corner of Malaysia to become a youth volunteer in Kuching. I am very passionate about the next generation getting an education in school, and I have noticed that there are a large number of children who, unfortunately, cannot get a proper quality education like us nowadays. At school, we have the opportunity to learn from one another and meet new friends, but these children have no choice except to stay at home and pray for helping hands.

Are you aware that 6 out of 100 children have dyslexia? Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes it hard for children to read and spell. The word "dyslexia" means that they have trouble reading and writing, even though they are smart and have plenty of chances to learn. Therefore, lend us your help in making these precious children's wishes come true and in increasing awareness among the general public.

For this fundraiser, we are collaborating with Dyslexia Associations of Sarawak (DASwk). The funds collected will be handed to two (2) beneficiaries that the organization assisted in identifying.
