The Story

Hello, I am Azian. Throughout my life, I’d never experienced food shortage (thanks to my hardworking parents) Being smart with our money, we love sales and discounts, especially on food. I mean, nothing wrong with trying to save money by buying cheaper goods, right? Overtime, it became a habit to stock up food whenever there’s a sale. If it goes bad, nevermind, we got it for cheap anyway—that is what I would say to myself when we throw away expired, rotten and spoiled food. I always knew that we are not saving money, we were actually wasting more money, but I was in denial. I don’t have a choice—was what I’d say to myself. But I do have a choice all along; a choice to become a better personand be more mindful with my food purchases. I've wasted so much food and the change I can do now is to advocate for people who are still struggling with food security

Help me achieve my goals to increase food security and provide better living conditions to the underprivileged communities in Sarawak. Let’s secure their food and create a better life for them tomorrow ✨
