Finding more Opportunities for B40 Students! [Speak Up 8.0 - AIESEC in UTAR]

The Story

 Elloooo, everyone! I am Ally from AIESEC in UTAR. I have always been passionate about giving back to the community. I believe it is our responsibility as a part of the community to contribute back to society. I always wish I could have a chance to be a volunteer to help the community. However, through my growth up journey, I have had the most minor exposure to this kind of volunteering program. Until I joined AIESEC, many volunteering projects reached out to me. This time, I was able to be a part of it. So, it is my pleasure to create this page to help the B40 students raise funds to enhance their education environment. 
As everyone knows, the current trend issue in Malaysia is inflation; price raising has become crucial to all those middle- or low-income families. I have always thought about what we can do for them.

What do we do?

Our project is called SPEAK UP 8.0. It is a national project focusing on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 - Quality Education. We aim to empower students in Malaysia by developing their English-speaking ability and enhancing their knowledge and skills in STEAM, and widening Malaysian students' perspective on the world by providing them with a cross-cultural learning environment.

Why do we need to do crowdfunding?

We want to raise funds for the B40 students. We want to help them buy the soap kits simultaneously would like to help them build up a more inclusive learning environment.
