Assalamualaikum and hello there! I am Nuha, a first-year Product Design student at Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Do you know 3,500,000 Malaysian students do not meet the minimum English proficiency required from secondary school graduates?
Do you realise the implementation of STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education in Malaysia still needs a lot of improvement?
I am glad to be a part of the Speak Up Project because I truly believe every student should be given the chance to develop their English proficiency as well as STEM literacy as both are useful for their future careers and undoubtedly, open many doors to a promising future.
Here in the Speak Up Project, we aim to provide a higher quality education through STEM and the English language among local students. This project is aligned with the fourth Sustainable Development Goals (SDG): Quality Education.
Goal Breakdown :
Goal 1 - Training and Event (100*RM30) & Project Management - consistent follow-up with the project progress (20*RM150). Amount Needed: MYR 6,000
Goal 2 - Workshops (Project Materials) (1,500*RM6) and Transportation - solely traveling to and back from schools (20*RM150). Amount Needed: MYR 12,000
