The Story

Hi there!! My name is Asvenna and I am from AIESEC in Johor Bahru. I am an animals lover especially cats and dogs. I do have dogs and cats pet at home. I am not gonna lie, my social media news feed is full of videos of dogs and cats. It is fun to see their behavior towards their owner.

I have my own story of my cat pet, Blackie, which just passed away a few months ago. Blackie is a lovely and playful cat. My family and I like Blackie because of her behavior and we have had her as a pet for a long time already. But one day, she got sick and we don't know what is the cause of her sickness. She's getting skinnier and I decide to take her to the vet since it is so heartbreaking for me to see her struggling. I managed to get medicine for her and made sure she take the medicine. She does recover but it's not too long after her recovery, she passed away. I am so sad knowing the fact that I only get the chance to be with her for a short period after her recovery. T.T.

From my story, I know that there is still a lot of stray/abandoned cats and dogs out there without shelter and food, exposing them to a worse health problem. And some people may be too cruel to even hurt innocent animals. That is a sad fact that we all cannot deny. There is a lot of animal shelter in every part of this world but it cannot fit all animals in.

I hope we all can be a part of this fundraising campaign so that we can help animals in need. Even we cannot physically help the animals but a small donation will do. <3
