The Story

Hello everyone!

I'm Farahin, a volunteer for the Clean Our Plate winter project under AIESEC in UM. This project strives to address food waste issues and advocate for food waste reduction, particularly in Malaysia.

Starting from now, let's change our behaviour by consuming intelligently in order to reduce the amount of food that is going to be wasted. We must be responsible with our own consumption habits and care about other people who are starving out there. 

Through this crowdfunding, Clean Our Plate AIESEC in University of Malaya will collaborate with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia to raise the fund which will be used to purchase food donation items for the underprivileged end beneficiary, with the goal of impacting around 150 communities that assist them during this difficult pandemic period.

 The tentative food donation list that will be received per beneficiaries are as follow:

1. Mini Rice Cake 30s (20g)

2. Margarine (1kg)

3. Orange Cordial (2kg)

4. Potato (2.5kg)

5. Onion (1.5kg)

6. Eggs Grade C 30s (60g)

70% of the funds will go back to the underprivileged end beneficiary whereas 30% will be used for future projects development
