Hello everyone, I am Jie, a youth volunteer from Cat Tales program of AIESEC Penang, We are volunteering with Cat Beach Penang to raise fund for stray cats to give kittens a 2nd chance. AIESEC is a non-profit organization working with young people to develop their leaderships, and Cat Beach Sanctury is located in the fishing village of Teluk Bahangin the island of Penang, Malaysia.
Let me tell you a horrible story story but with happy ending that real happened in the Cat Beach. Ebony was a preganant cat spotted on Noordin Street in Georgetown, she was fractured and patalyzed, baby cats in her body was about to die. One day the Cat Beach Sanctuary received a call in local Hokkien Chinese that this was a EMERGENCY. People would wondering why there was no call before? However the answers ar every simple, Some people just do not know what to do, and some people find vet bills are costly. The fundamental principal of the sanctuary is everyone in need deserves care(human or cat), so a Pet Taxi was immediately get to treat Ebony. She is recorving but may never be able to walk again, she eats a lot and talks a lot. Now Ebony is at Cat Beach, what will her life be in the future?...
DONATIONS helps Cat Beach meet the cost of veterinary care for Ebony, and so many injured cats.. we cannot help them without you... Please consider donating to Cat Beach Veterinary care, So all cats in emergencies receive vet care and a good future life
So new intakes are tested for parvo and other viruses before coming to Cat Beach
So all Cat Beach Cats receive vaccinations and age appropriate sterilization (spay/neuter).
There are so many ways to help: Adopt, Foster, Volunteer, Sponsor, Donate, Visit...
