SYLC 10.0 Fundraising Campaign

The Story

Since the emergence of the global pandemic, COVID-19, students and teachers have been forced to stay home, restricted from schools, forcing all stakeholders to shift to online education.  The most recent studies show majority of B40 students do not have sufficient electronic appliances necessary for online learning.

My name is Bryan Yap, I am an AIESECer under AIESEC in Johor Bahru, an Organising Committee of one of its SDG Projects called Southern Youth Leadership Conference.  SYLC is in line with SDG 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and we are supporting the cause of keeping youths in education, employment or training.

Our target beneficiary for this fundraiser is Connect.ED, an organisation that channels digital devices to B40 students in Malaysia.  For more information, you may refer to their website here:

I believe that as Malaysians, we will all be united in supporting our young generation in ensuring they receive quality education.  Hence, I would encourage those of you who have seen this message, donate a minimum of RM5 for them, or share this fundraising campaign to your family, friends and loved ones.
