#BenderaPutih Fundraiser for Flood Victims

The Story

Hello! We are a group of Biomedicine students under the School of Medical Life Sciences from Sunway University. Our community service project, W-Earth It!, advocates for the Sustainable Development Goal - "Climate Action". 

The W-earth It! Project focuses on environmental issues such as global warming and the rising of sea levels. We believe we have the leverage not only to raise awareness on climate change but also make an impact on the lives of those who were affected by these environmental issues. Therefore, we want to take action by raising funds under the #BenderaPutih campaign. 

The recent floods have severely affected many families under the B40 category, refugees, people with disabilities and asylum seekers. On top of that, due to the pandemic these families are struggling even more to seek aid. With the amount raised, we can make an impact by providing essentials for the flood victims.
