The Story

It is the strength of all of us working together that makes a change.

Hey everyone. My name is Manisha, and I am currently a volunteer trying to help people with special needs.

Have you ever felt alone, out of place or just been treated differently?  Many people do not understand how to interact with children with special needs and some don’t understand the severity of the matter. There are many of them but little institutions or organisations to provide the help they need, and it is concerning to see the number of children who desperately need help, especially since the pandemic.

Personally, I've had many classmates with special needs as I have changed schools quite often. All of them from all the different schools have really struggled to cope with the environment. A classmate of mine had really impacted me a lot more than I had imagined. His mother had to take time out from her day just to be present with him during his ICT classes as help was not provided by the school. Her love, dedication and patience with her son is astonishing. She picked him up every single day and would meet up with me just before I left to make sure he had all his homework written down. Watching his mother unconditionally care for him really inspired me to help other people who experience the same difficulties as her and people who are not capable of helping their children themselves.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could donate as much as you can to reach the goal. All the proceeds will go to the special needs community and non-government funded centres such as IMC Training Centre for Special Needs, with branches in Subang and Puchong, which aid them in developing their motor, sensing, and thinking skills to better prepare them for life in mainstream society.

2. You can make a pure donation, redeem our merchandise or make a direct merchandise purchase.

For merchandise redemption:

1. Select the “redeem merchandise option”

2. Attach your proof of donation.

3. Select your donation range.

4. Select the items that you wish to redeem.

5. Input your sizes if necessary.

For direct merchandise purchase:

1. Select the “purchase merchandise” option.

2. Input the quantity of each item that you would like to purchase.

3. Attach your proof of payment.
