The Story

Hi i am June. Recently i was given the opportunity to interract with children with special needs, and this is the main reason why i started joining this funraising campaign, because i think that they totally deserve more than what they are getting. 

Parents from low-income backgrounds with autistic children have almost no access to specialised care and therapy sessions due to high costs. Most parents are unable to deliver early intervention care which is very crucial in helping their child to adjust to life’s daily challenges. In addition, the incapacity to pay for external care, usually means that at least one parent has to quit working to care for their special needs child, increasing the financial burdens on these families. 

Children with special needs did not really have a choice. Nobody ever wanted this to happen, it is uncontrollable and that also means that it can happen to literally anyone. So it is unfair that they are treated like a burden to the society as they normally require a lot of difficulty, worry, and hard work. However, you can help these kids reach for their God-given potential — equipping them to attend school, play with others, participate in their communities and in decisions that affect them, get specialized resources and care, and feel fully supported.
