Help to eliminate starvation

The Story

Hi! I am Laura and I am from China. I am passionate about making our lives better. I am here to fundraise because I want to help people in starvation from our small actions. If you can help us, we can help more people with better food. 

Nowadays, there are more than 800 million people go to bed hungry and the pandemic is exacerbating the number!!! In Malaysia, there are 17,000 tonnes of daily food waste generated and 4,080 tonnes still edible which is enough to feed 3 million people.

Through this crowdfunding campaign, Clean Our Plate AIESEC in University of Malaya will collaborate with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia to raise the fund which will be used to purchase food donation items for the underprivileged end beneficiary, with the goal of impacting around 150 communities that assist them during this difficult pandemic period.

The tentative food donation list that will be received per beneficiaries are as follow:

1. Mini Rice Cake 30s (20g)

2. Margarine (1kg)

3. Orange Cordial (2kg)

4. Potato (2.5kg)

5. Onion (1.5kg)

6. Eggs Grade C 30s (60g)
