Save the Children - Education Fundraising Campaign

The Story

You can help a student to get a quality education with just a little support!

Good day, guys! I'm Wilson Wong currently studying for a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. In the meantime of studying, I found out that AIESEC is actually a great platform for us to learn something and do something bigger. And now, I serve as a local virtual volunteer and also a fundraiser for AIESEC in SUNWAY. Everyone is having a hard time during this COVID-19 pandemic. School, workplace, and even government are conducted virtually. However, some families from rural areas are not affordable for purchasing a cellphone or laptop for their children. Research conducted by the Education Ministry in Malaysia showed that 36.9 percent of students nationwide do not possess any electronic devices. Children are having education issues nowadays.

Our fundraising campaign will more focus on assisting and helping B40 students thus to get the same quality of education. They lack those gadgets to study online or virtual nowadays. Eg. Laptop, smartphone, WiFi connection just to name a few.
