WHO ARE YOU?

Hello everyone!

I'm Jia En, a fresher from University of Malaya(UM) and also a passionate volunteer for Clean Our Plate (COP) AIESEC in UM.

DID YOU KNOW ?

• Malaysians waste about 16,668 tonnes of food per day.
• 2.2 millions people could be fed three times daily with the wasted food.
• By 2021, the food waste in Malaysia will be enough to fill up 16 Petronas Twin Towers to the brim.

On top of that, COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on everyone's live. As an example, nearly 100,000 Malaysians have lost jobs since start of MCO, says HR ministry. Particularly the B40 and the poor families are struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic as well.

Therefore, this crowdfunding aims to advocate the awareness of public on not wasting the food as there are still a lot of people who are suffering from hunger and food shortage to sustain their life. 

This might be a tough time for us and might feel powerless easily in the face of COVID-19 pandemic, but if you have the affinity and capacity to give back to our community, your contribution would be greatly appreciated!!

All the funds we raise with your contribution will be channelled to YAYASAN FOOD BANK MALAYSIA where the underprivileged will be receiving the basic necessities.

5. Onion (1.5kg)

6. Eggs Grade C 30s (60g)
