Excel with a purpose, Educate with a Passion

The Story

Hello, I'm Janice Ng from AIESEC in UTAR. Ever since I've stepped into AIESEC, I'm astonished by the high amounts of effort that AIESECers put in to create a purpose in anything we strive for. With our projects aligning with any SDG goals targeted, the impact we wish to create leads to a ripple effect that benefits various parties involved with a good cause. 

Our campaign, Speak Up, is aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education which aims to raise the importance of the English Language while incorporating STEM initiatives to create an impact, especially towards the B40 students in our society. Especially with everything being virtual, hands-on activities are being restricted, and students aren't able to attend practical classes. Moreover, due to this pandemic, it has taken a toll on our mental health, where we are urged to abide by the rules set and encouraged to stay at home. 

So, this initiative aims to bring in a little hope and encouragement to the B40 students affected by these crazy times. We would love to raise funds to acquire STEM Science Kit Sets for them and with every RM20 donated, you would be able to send a personalised message to connect more with the B40 students with your words of encouragement. 

I believe with this small gesture; we are able to impact lives as little actions can make a big difference. I hope all of you are inspired to donate to this good cause!
