The Story

🩸❤️ What is period poverty? Period poverty is the lack of access to sanitary products, menstrual hygiene education and safe, hygienic spaces.

The cultural shame attached to menstruation has downplayed the severity of the issue. Women who face a shortage of pads, tampons and painkillers are struggling to manage their menstrual cycles. 

Especially now, as Malaysia is undergoing its third lockdown, many fundraisers have been created to supply necessities such as food and clothes. However, menstrual facilities are often disregarded and forgotten as a basic necessity too.

That is where we come in. We are a group of passionate students who are building a bridge between you and the underprivileged. They need your help to alleviate period poverty and spread awareness about menstrual equity. Let's "bloody" talk. Change starts with you ❤️🩸
