Give a Chance for Kids To Learn and Grow out from Poverty

The Story

Hi there. How are you? How was your day today? Are you happy? Are you sad? Your mood changes now and then? Well, these kids only have one type of expression; hopelessness. According to The Star, in every 5 secondary students, there will be 1 who cannot finish their studies. It also concurs that less than 6% of Malaysian students are having their laptops for study usage. That means, 1 out of 5 students will never know what's it like to be free from the endless cycle of poverty. 

An opportunity to study is not always granted, especially under the COVID-19 situation. When the momentum of online schooling has become the popularity, there are groups of people that are looking for solutions which are us. 

We are AIESEC, the leading youth leadership organization that facilitates youth leadership via voluntary projects locally and overseas globally. This Speak Up project will help students to

• gain technical STEM skills which contribute to their future employment and entrepreneurship
• have more self-awareness & hold confidence to speak up in English and
• have a stronger understanding of education and its impact on future generations.
