The Story

Hey there! My name's Mohan. I am a part of the Clean Our Plate Virtual Volunteering Program from AIESEC at the University of Malaya. Have you wondered why is nothing being done to overcome this issue? Along with the food waste, tonnes of money, water, labor, and natural resources are also being wasted. The excess food waste that ends up in landfills contributes to the release of greenhouse gases. Therefore, this fundraiser is the means to bring an end to food waste. This also plays a part in saving our environment as to raise awareness amongst people to stop wasting food. The funds donated by you will provide the necessities for the underprivileged people in our community, especially to those who have suffered major losses during this Covid pandemic times. We will appreciate any amount donated.
