End of Food Waste Fundraise

The Story

Hello everyone.

My name is Samihah and I'm part of the Clean Our Plate (AIESEC in University of Malaya) project's organising committee. 

Don't be surprised if I told you that Malaysians waste about 16,688 tonnes of food PER day which is an amount that can easily feed around 2.2 million people, three times a day! 

And another sensational fact: !!Households are the main contributor to food wastage in Malaysia!!

So that is why through our project, we strive to end food waste and help underprivilege to get their share part of the food. 

Through this crowdfunding campaign, Clean Our Plate AIESEC in University of Malaya will colloborate with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia to raise the fund which will be use to purchased around 460kg of food donation item for the underprivileged end beneficiary.

The tentative list are follow:

• Beras Cap Rambutan (5kg) - 25 packets
• Hup Seng Cream Cracker (428g) - 40 packets
• Nestle Milo (400g) - 40 packets
• Julies Sugar Cracker (416g) - 40 packets
• MAGGI Two-Minutes Curry (395g) - 40 packs
• Nestle Just Milk Full Cream (1kg) - 40 packets
• Captain Out-Instant (800g) - 40 packs
• Ayam Brand Sardine (155g) - 50 cans
• Alif Vegetable Cooking Oil (2kg) - 40 bottles
• Canned Baked Bean (425g) - 40 cans
• Gula Kasar CSR (1kg) - 50 packs
• Tepung Gandum (1kg) - 50 packs
