The Story

Hey everyone! My name is Irene Ting Fu Yi. I am a second year mechanical engineering student in Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). I am here to increase the public awareness toward the food waste as food wastage has become a tremendous weary problem lately. Meanwhile, there are still many people facing starvation. ‘ Clean Our Plate’ in AIESEC Penang are now going to help the indigent by giving food donation in Penang, Malaysia. However, our abilities are still quite limited and we hope to have more people answering the call of the needy through our fundraising campaign. The reason that led me to join this fundraising campaign as it is my personal volunteer. In my point of view, the M40 and B40 category in Malaysia should be concerned to alleviate their burden especially during the pandemic.
