Miracle for Stray Cats

The Story

Hi everyone, this is Yi Hui. Thank you for embarking your visit on this page. Ever since April 2021, I got to connect with Cat Beach Sanctuary Penang through AIESEC in Penang.

Cat Beach Sanctuary Penang is a non-profit "no kill" shelter working towards cat welfare. They provided 300++ cats a home. Cat Beach receives reports of cats in difficulties every day and takes around RM5K operation fund weekly.

AIESEC in Penang and Cat Beach have them come to have a collaboration together to set up a project namely Cat Tales. As the Director of Cat Tales project and Organizing Committee, I have realized caring for cats is indeed a hard work and what Cat Beach is doing is definitely a great service to the cats community.

There are a lot of cats on the streets being ignored just because people couldn't afford to care for them or simply do not show care. Cat Beach provides a last resort for these cats. Linking it to my personal story, my brother has been feeding a stray cat outside my house. She comes to my house everyday and it kinda turn out like my house is her "terroritory". Whenever my brother comes home from work, she will run towards him by only hearing the sound of my brother's car. I could see the hope given by my brother to her in which one of your simple act of kindness can light up a little furry life. 

By simply donating a small amount, your act could change one little furry life. 1 can of food can feed 3 cats. 

On the other hand, Cat Beach is actually open to visitors, so do have a great time day by the beach and play with some cats!!
