Get your New Responsible in Food Donation Drive!!

The Story

Hi everyone!

I'm Jie Li, an organizing committee for Clean Our Plate project of AIESEC in UM.

Do you know that food wastage is a never-ending issue in Malaysia? Food waste in Malaysia is a major concern as 55% of Malaysia's landfills is comprised of food!! According to SWCorp, Malaysians threw away more than 16,667 tonnes of food daily and it comprised 44.5% of the overall waste. Simultaneously, there are approximately 24% of the food waste is still edible, making them enough to feed about 12 million people for their daily three meals!

Through this crowdfunding campaign, Clean Our Plate AIESEC in University of Malaya will colloborate with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia to raise the fund which will be use to purchased around 460kg of food donation item for the underprivileged end beneficiary.

The tentative list are follow:

• Beras Cap Rambutan (5kg) - 25 packets
• Hup Seng Cream Cracker (428g) - 40 packets
• Nestle Milo (400g) - 40 packets
• Julies Sugar Cracker (416g) - 40 packets
• MAGGI Two-Minutes Curry (395g) - 40 packs
• Nestle Just Milk Full Cream (1kg) - 40 packets
• Captain Out-Instant (800g) - 40 packs
• Ayam Brand Sardine (155g) - 50 cans
• Alif Vegetable Cooking Oil (2kg) - 40 bottles
• Canned Baked Bean (425g) - 40 cans
• Gula Kasar CSR (1kg) - 50 packs
• Tepung Gandum (1kg) - 50 packs

Donate now and make a difference!!

80% of the funds will go back to the underprivileged end beneficiary whereas 20% will be used for future projects development.
