Fundraiser for providing laptops for students in need.

The Story

Hello everyone! We are a team from Sunway College and we are currently doing a project for AIESEC and at the same time it is an assignment for our MPU subject which is Community Service.

Speak Up is a project started by AIESEC in Malaysia back in 2015. Speak Up is a 4 – 6 weeks project where we are focusing on providing STEM education for the youths to develop their vocational and technical skills.

we chose this Organization because due to the Covid-19 pandemic right now, a lot of students are facing problems with online classes as they do not have any laptops at home. So we decided to raise some funds to sponsor those students who needs laptop.

Speak Up is a project where people and students can develop themselves in speaking English and learn about STEM. Not just that, they will polish up their public speaking skills too. Through this project they will benefits of public speaking, which is:

• Self-empowerment

• Development in Leadership Skills

• Strengthening Thinking Skills

They will also learn and improve soft skills like:

• Teamwork

• Communication Skills

• Problem solving Skills

• Leadership

• Interpersonal Skills
