Nethmi's fundraising

The Story

Hello, My name is Nethmi Rathnayake. I'm a student from Taylors University and I'm studying BSc.(Hons) in Architecture. I'm passionate about old buildings and to learn about their architecture. And I'm someone who gets lost in good books as well as good movies. Doing volunteering work is one of the things I wanted to experience in my lifetime and fortunately, I was able to join two of them during my Uni life. And I'm hoping to do more volunteering work in the future.

I got to know about NCSM through the Here for you campaign that is organized by AIESEC  in Taylor's University. National Cancer Society of Malaysia Is a Non- profitable organization that helps with education, care, and support to the people affected by cancer. This made me more interested because when you think of cancer the first thing that comes to your head is the amount of money that is needed to be paid for all the medications, But thanks to this organization, cancer patients have hope in surviving and fighting against all the hardship they go through without giving much thought about the money. And in my opinion, it is our responsibility as a society to help this organization by donating any possible amount of money to help more hopeful patients to see them smile again without any pain. 

So I hope you will be able to help me at this stop of my volunteering journey by donating to reach my goal of collecting 300 RM at the end of this fundraising program.
